Take the Scenic Coast Road
Drive via Võ Nguyên Giáp and Trường Sa coastal roads instead of Highway 1A. It's flat, scenic, and avoids dangerous truck traffic.
Hoi An Parking Rules
Motorbikes are banned inside the Ancient Town walking streets. Park at official boundary lots for 5k-10k VND and keep your ticket.
Avoid Rush Hour Commutes
Traffic peaks from 7:30-8:30 AM and 5:00-6:30 PM. Drive around 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM for the most relaxed, open coastal highway run.
Carry Cash (VND)
Most small local shops, tailors, and roadside stalls prefer cash payments. Keep some Vietnamese Dong (VND) on hand for easy transactions.
